Manchester United has quietly added Fulham's Antonee Robinson to its summer shopping list. The 28-year-old American left-back carries a £28 million price tag, roughly half what Newcastle demands for Lewis Hall.

Fulham bought Robinson from Wigan in August 2020 for just £2 million. A deal at £28 million would represent a 14-fold return on that investment. The club holds strong use, with Robinson's contract running through 2028/2029.
Robinson has said publicly he's content at Craven Cottage. He's also made clear he'd listen if an offer meets Fulham's valuation and matches his ambitions. No formal bids have landed yet, just the early reconnaissance phase clubs run when sizing each other up.
Left-back remains United's persistent problem. The club has been actively hunting solutions throughout the summer, and Robinson's profile fits several needs at once. He's 28, meaning he arrives ready to contribute immediately rather than as a prospect needing development. The value angle is harder to ignore, especially for a club historically comfortable with premium spending.
Lewis Hall remains the premium option. Robinson is the disciplined choice. Having both on the radar gives United flexibility to pivot depending on how negotiations unfold over the coming weeks.
