Uniswap Labs went live with Pools on Wednesday, a new token launchpad for Robinhood Chain that lets anyone launch and trade tokens from a single interface. The beta launch came after a 24-hour countdown, though it rolled out later than originally scheduled.
The platform strips away the usual launchpad friction. Pools charges a standard 0.25% liquidity provider fee that automatically compounds into permanently locked liquidity, according to the team. Token creators can take 0.05% of that fee while the rest gets reinvested, and Uniswap itself pockets nothing extra for the launchpad itself.
Two paths to launch
Pools offers creators a choice. Crowd Launch runs a four-hour bidding auction with TWAP-based pricing designed to cut down on bot activity and MEV bundling, with a $10,000 minimum token valuation to go live. Instant Launch skips the auction entirely, deploying tokens immediately on a bonding curve so trading fires up the moment the token hits the chain.
Tokens launched through Pools automatically plug into Uniswap's broader trading stack. That means they show up in the web app, integrate with the routing API, and get picked up by ecosystem partners like MetaMask, Ledger, and major DEX aggregators right away. No manual integrations needed.
The launchpad also bakes in sniping protection and permanently locked liquidity by default, removing some of the rug-pull vectors that plague newer token platforms.
