MKgirl, a Polygon-based NFT collection that launched on Aug. 24, grabbed the top spot in daily sales on Aug. 25 with $1.1 million changing hands in a single day. That figure came from 421 transactions, yet only four unique sellers were involved, according to CryptoSlam data. The collection currently counts 233 active owners.

DMarket finished second for the day, pulling in nearly $792,000 across 27,387 transactions. Its all-time volume now sits just above $495 million, less than $5 million short of joining the half-billion-dollar club as the 14th collection to reach that threshold. The Mythos Chain, where DMarket lives, crossed the $500 million mark in total network sales over the weekend, becoming the 11th blockchain to do so.

The rest of the top seven

CryptoPunks on Ethereum came in third with $604,000 from only seven transactions, a reminder of how high the floor sits on that collection. Its all-time volume stands at $2.87 billion, third in the entire industry. Guild of Guardians Heroes on Immutable ranked fourth at $541,450, while Pudgy Penguins took fifth with $447,641.

  • Solana Monkey Business: $371,874 (sixth)
  • DogeZuki Collection on Solana: $324,468 (seventh)

At the blockchain level, Ethereum led with $4.06 million in Sunday sales, down slightly from $4.22 million the day before. Solana followed at $2.2 million, with Polygon close behind at $2.18 million. The narrow gap between Solana and Polygon is worth watching, given that MKgirl's debut volume could skew Polygon's numbers for the next few days.

After the rankings were published, trading activity in MKgirl picked up briefly before settling, with floor price movements reflecting early speculative interest from a thin seller base.
