DMarket pulled in $643,600 on Thursday, enough to push CryptoPunks off the top spot in daily NFT sales, according to CryptoSlam data. The result lifted DMarket's all-time volume to $492 million, putting it just $8 million short of joining the fourteen collections that have ever crossed the half-billion dollar mark.

Solana's DeGods came in second at $586,670 across 115 transactions, a dramatic jump from the $186,567 it posted the day before. Bored Ape Yacht Club held third place with $550,430, followed by Black Myth Wukong, an NFT collection tied to the breakout video game of the same name, which recorded $533,257 from only 87 sales. Immutable's Guild of Guardians Heroes rounded out the top five at $501,415.

Ethereum still dominates, but Solana closed the gap

Ethereum finished the day as the leading blockchain by transaction volume, though its $5.02 million total was down from $6.15 million the previous session. Solana came in second at $2.76 million, actually up from $2.03 million the day prior, narrowing the distance between the two networks.

The Thursday snapshot puts DMarket in a rare position. Few gaming-linked NFT platforms have come this close to a half-billion in cumulative sales, and the $8 million gap could close quickly if daily volumes stay anywhere near Thursday's pace.
