CryptoPunks grabbed the top spot in daily NFT sales on Monday, pulling in over $1.6 million across just 17 transactions. The numbers were thin on volume but heavy on price: the average sale came in at roughly $94,825, with 14 unique buyers and 15 sellers involved. For a collection that trades in five and six-figure sums per piece, that kind of activity moves the needle fast.

Solana Monkey Business finished second for the day with $953,143 in sales, a sharp jump from $371,874 the previous day. That move came from 216 transactions spread across 91 buyers and 89 sellers, a very different profile from CryptoPunks' low-volume, high-ticket pattern.

DMarket, running on the Mythos Chain, landed third at $663,200, but it took 29,613 transactions to get there. Guild of Guardians Heroes on the Immutable blockchain came fourth at $508,068, and DogeZuki Collection on Solana rounded out the top five at $318,012.

Ethereum and Solana both moved up

Ethereum's total daily NFT sales volume reached $4.55 million, up from $3.94 million the day before, a 15.5% gain. Solana climbed too, from $2.19 million to $3.52 million in a single day. Both chains saw activity pick up in parallel, which is worth noting given they usually pull in different collector bases.

ETH-based blue chips like CryptoPunks tend to attract wallets with longer holding histories, while Solana collections see faster turnover at lower price points. Monday's data showed both dynamics running at the same time.

NFT market indexes ticked up slightly after the data dropped.
