CryptoPunks pulled in $825,446 in sales on Monday, enough to reclaim the daily NFT leaderboard from DMarket and remind the market that Larva Labs' decade-old pixel portraits still move serious money. The collection sits at $2.87 billion in all-time volume, third-highest in the industry.
Who finished where and what the numbers say
DMarket came in second at $746,474, drawing 3,732 unique buyers and 3,148 sellers in a single day. Those buyer counts dwarf what most blue-chip collections manage: Bored Ape Yacht Club, which ranked fifth, closed the same day with just 13 unique buyers generating $378,692. The contrast is stark. DMarket trades gaming skins at accessible price points, BAYC moves six-figure jpegs to a tiny circle of wallets.
Polygon's Fashion Girl finished third at $608,982, a step up from the $529,000 it posted on its debut the day before. Immutable's Guild of Guardians Heroes landed fourth with $422,847 and 491 unique buyers.
Ethereum led all blockchains with $3.84 million in total NFT sales on Monday, ticking up from $3.38 million the prior day. A modest gain, but a gain.
The milestone sitting just around the corner for Mythos Chain
DMarket's strong day has a second-order effect worth watching. The Mythos Chain, where DMarket lives, has accumulated $497.93 million in all-time sales. It needs roughly $2 million more to cross the $500 million mark, and at current pace that happens this week. That would make Mythos Chain the 11th blockchain ever to clear that threshold.
DMarket itself is less than $10 million from joining the half-billion dollar club as a collection, which would place it 14th in NFT history to get there.
