Chandler Fang, co-founder of AI infrastructure firm t54.ai, recently announced a significant achievement for the XRP Ledger (XRPL) with over one million AI agent transactions recorded on its mainnet. Fang emphasized that this milestone is part of an "autonomous loop" that indicates a functional system where AI agents can autonomously request services and execute payments using XRP or Ripple USD (RLUSD) without human mediation. This development marks a crucial step towards the broader acceptance of autonomous payments, a concept that could revolutionize how transactions are conducted in the digital economy.
