Shiba Inu (SHIB) has been added to OKX's MiFID-regulated X-Perps trading platform in Europe, expanding its accessibility for traders across the region. This move marks another step in SHIB’s journey as it celebrates its sixth anniversary.
The new listing includes several other cryptocurrencies like AEON, Zilliqa (ZIL), GRVT, PROS, and ESP, alongside tokenized contracts representing major U.S. companies such as Robinhood, Palantir, Qualcomm, and Coinbase. These contracts are now accessible via OKX’s Simple Mode interface, designed to streamline user experience.
What Are X-Perps?
X-Perps, or Expiry Perpetuals, blend features from perpetual futures with fixed expiration dates. They allow traders to take long or short positions while using a funding rate to keep prices aligned with the spot market. The platform offers up to 10x use and supports multi-asset margin, enabling collateral in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, or stablecoins without the need for conversion into a single settlement currency.
Available to eligible traders within the European Economic Area, OKX’s MiFID-regulated entity emphasizes professional-grade execution. This latest batch of listings continues the exchange’s push to diversify its X-Perps offerings by adding traditional finance assets next to cryptocurrencies, aiming to provide European traders with a broader selection of leveraged instruments in one regulated venue.
