The updated UK crypto authorization process is set to open for applications at the end of September and wrap up by February next year. Already, over 50 firms like Ripple and Kraken have secured registration under the FCA's current regime.

Wander Rutgers, President of Robinhood International, called this milestone the start of Robinhood's expansion into the UK market, signaling a big step for the company’s global growth strategy.

Having completed much of the regulatory work early, Robinhood is well-positioned to navigate the upcoming framework changes smoothly. This move follows the company’s previous announcement about plans to launch crypto offerings in the UK, revealed during their second-quarter results.
