Robinhood Chain's real-world asset trading has exploded in less than two weeks, jumping roughly five times to reach about $70 million in active market value. This surge reflects a significant uptick in tokenized stock activity, with daily volumes for some equities hitting half a million dollars or more.
GameStop leads the pack with $26.6 million in daily trading volume, followed by Nvidia at $14 million and SpaceX at $6.4 million. In total, twelve tokenized stocks on the chain clear at least $500,000 daily, with five surpassing the $1 million mark. This increase points to a growing acceptance of Robinhood Chain as a platform for tokenized equities.
Despite this progress, the overall ecosystem is still largely dominated by memecoins and stablecoins. When the chain launched, speculative memecoin trading, especially around CASHCAT a token referencing Robinhood's original name was the main driver. CASHCAT once surged over 1,700% after CEO Vlad Tenev followed its account but has since dropped about 75% from its peak as real equities have gained traction.
Total value locked on Robinhood Chain has roughly tripled since mid-July, climbing to approximately $312 million. The network is now processing over $600 million in daily decentralized exchange volume, positioning it among the more active blockchains in the crypto space. Meanwhile, the transaction count has also been drawing attention, signaling growing user engagement.
The shift towards tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain echoes broader trends in crypto markets, although stablecoins and memecoins still command substantial shares of activity. This development parallels other shifts in crypto trading dynamics such as Coinbase's cautious stance amid ongoing Bitcoin challenges as reported recently.
