Reality, the Bitget-backed platform for tokenized real-world assets, has moved beyond simple proof-of-reserves snapshots. The Seychelles firm now works with The Network Firm to publish independently verified daily attestation reports across its catalog of over 500 tokenized stocks and ETPs.
The shift matters because RWA platforms operate in a trust vacuum. Attestation reports differ from standard proof-of-reserves data in one key way: they come with a third-party audit stamp. Someone outside the operation is checking the numbers, not just the platform reporting them back to itself. For holders of tokenized assets, that layer adds friction to any accounting games.
Reality's move reflects a broader pattern in crypto finance. As digital representations of traditional securities grow, custodians and issuers face pressure to prove assets actually exist and are properly safeguarded. Daily frequency matters too. Weekly or monthly reports create windows where discrepancies can hide. Daily checks tighten the loop.
The partnership signals that even regulated platforms understand transparency alone isn't enough anymore. Independent verification has become table stakes. Whether it changes behavior or simply shifts which firms get investor confidence remains to be seen, but the infrastructure for accountability is finally taking shape across the RWA sector.
