Wednesday, Kalshi went live with its U.S. Midterms Hub, a dedicated dashboard showing real-time betting odds on individual Senate and House of Representatives races ahead of November's elections.
The hub pulls together live market prices, polling averages, and the latest Federal Election Commission fundraising data for individual candidates, alongside curated news from various outlets.
Users can see, race by race across a U.S. map, exactly where speculators are putting their money at any given moment. Kalshi described it as "the one-stop-shop for state and federal election forecasting."
The polling averages sit alongside the market odds on purpose, so bettors can judge how prediction markets diverge from traditional voter surveys, which they often do.
This is not Kalshi's first push into political territory. Back in May the platform launched the "American Power Index," billing it as the S&P 500 for politics, a tracker showing which party is gaining or losing ground.
The Midterms Hub rollout lands as Kalshi is busy on several other fronts. The company is seeking CFTC approval to expand its perpetual futures contracts beyond crypto, with Bloomberg reporting Tuesday that gold, silver, and platinum are the targets for the never-expiring derivative instrument.
Trading volumes back up the ambition. Kalshi posted $31 billion in total notional volume in June, a jump of more than 70% compared with May, with sports contracts driving a big chunk of that growth.
The platform is also said to be raising a new funding round at a valuation of roughly $40 billion.
