Caversaccio, known in the crypto community as “pcaversaccio,” brings hands-on experience in incident response and blockchain security. Unlike typical board members who often come from legal or corporate backgrounds, Caversaccio’s career centers on defending crypto projects from hacks and vulnerabilities. He co-founded SEAL 911, a rapid-response network that assists projects in managing security incidents swiftly and effectively. His focus on privacy and security aligns closely with Ethereum’s foundational principles.
The new board now includes Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Foundation President Aya Miyaguchi, Swiss counsel Patrick Storchenegger, and Caversaccio. This mix of technical, legal, and strategic expertise aims to stabilize Ethereum Foundation leadership amid ongoing debates about its future and priorities.
