On July 27, 2026, Cognizant announced a major step in scaling AI integration by training more than 30,000 of its employees on Anthropic’s Claude AI platform.
This move upgrades Cognizant to a Global Premier Partner within the Claude Partner Network, reflecting a shift from pilot projects to full production deployments.
Claude is now embedded deeply into Cognizant’s core business and engineering systems, supporting clients across manufacturing, life sciences, insurance, and other sectors with strict compliance and data sensitivity requirements.
By bringing Claude into these highly regulated industries, Cognizant is addressing one of the biggest hurdles in AI adoption: reliability at scale. Deploying AI outside lab settings isn’t simple, especially where data accuracy and trust are critical.
For example, one AI-driven contract intelligence system deployed by Cognizant cut contract review times by up to 40% while improving data extraction accuracy to over 88%.
Meanwhile, a risk-navigation tool streamlined underwriting processes, saving around eight hours a week by transforming manual research into quick automated workflows.
Ravi Kumar S, Cognizant’s CEO, emphasized the need to bridge the gap between AI’s rapid capabilities and enterprise absorption. He highlighted Cognizant’s unique ability to combine industry knowledge, engineering scale, and trust frameworks to deliver dependable AI-powered solutions.
The partnership signifies a broader industry challenge: many companies can sign AI platform agreements, but few can embed those technologies effectively in complex environments.
Cognizant’s approach also aligns with growing efforts to provide reliable AI services in regulated industries, a challenge shared across the technology landscape.
