The XRP community is packing its bags for Las Vegas. From July 28 to 31, Rare Evo 2026 brings together blockchain founders, investors, creators, and Web3 builders at what organizers describe as a convergence of traditional industry and decentralized technology. The XRP Ledger Foundation is listed as one of the event's official sponsors and organizations.

Hussein Zangana, known on X as "Vet" and serving as community director for the XRP Ledger Foundation, is scheduled to speak at the conference. He outlined the community's plans in a post on July 22: a dedicated XRPL ecosystem booth will display artwork and branding from major NFT projects alongside apps and tools built on the ledger.

Workshops aimed at newcomers

Beyond the booth, the team is running a series of hands-on workshops during the event. The sessions cover XRPL and AI integration, infrastructure with a live physical server demo, wallet and dapp onboarding, and a Ripple UBRI session for those just getting started. The lineup is clearly aimed at people walking in with little prior knowledge of the ledger, not at the already-converted crowd.

Rare Evo itself centers on interoperability, which fits the XRPL's pitch well given the ledger's multi-chain ambitions. Four days of programming, four workshops confirmed from the XRP side alone. The conference comes at a busy stretch for the ecosystem, with protocol upgrades also expected in the weeks surrounding the event.
