XRP Ledger hit fresh records this week. The network's tokenized real-world assets reached $4.06 billion, up 2.18% in 30 days, while RWA holders jumped to 199, a 25.16% surge in the same span.
The timing matters. Ripple just backed infrastructure startups ZILO and Licuido with strategic funding, moves aimed at beefing up XRPL's institutional muscle and cementing it as the go-to RWA platform. The ecosystem now houses 373 tokenized assets with $368.82 million in distributed value. Stablecoins grew to $901.4 million across roughly 60,240 holders.
Not all numbers climbed. RWA transfer volume slumped to $18.15 million over the past month, and stablecoin transfers dipped 1.79% to $3.89 billion. Yet the overall picture shows Ripple's pivot away from pure payments toward institutional tokenization is taking root. The platform now handles token issuance, custody, collateral management, multi-currency settlement, and atomic trades.
Partnerships with heavyweights like Aviva Investors, Franklin Templeton, and DBS signal real institutional appetite. XRP itself remains volatile, but the ledger's infrastructure play appears to be gaining traction among the players who move serious capital.
