Agentic infrastructure provider t54 has processed over 1.4 million autonomous AI transactions through its x402 facilitator on the XRP Ledger, and RippleX Head of Engineering David Schwartz says this is just the opening act. He expects XRPL transaction volumes to jump from roughly one million today to somewhere between 10 million and 100 million in the coming years, as AI agents start paying for APIs, computing power, and digital services on their own.

That growth story is landing at an interesting moment for XRP's market structure. Whale inflows to Binance have dropped to their lowest point since January 2025, according to analyst Crypto Patel. Fewer large holders moving coins to exchanges means less supply sitting ready for immediate sale. Historically, that kind of pullback in whale deposits has tilted the balance toward buyers.

Patel reads the shift as a move out of a distribution phase and into demand-driven territory. He puts XRP's long-term accumulation zone at $0.70 to $1.00 and floats a $10 target if adoption and buying momentum keep building. At the time of writing, CoinCodex had XRP sitting at $1.14, just above that range.

Whales accumulating while retail trims

On-chain data adds another layer to the picture. XRP whale wallets grew their holdings by 2.8% as the token climbed to a two-week high. Retail investors, meanwhile, were trimming positions. That kind of divergence, big money adding while smaller holders sell, tends to tighten available supply quietly, which can amplify price moves once fresh demand shows up.

The combination is notable: shrinking sell-side pressure from large holders, institutional-scale accumulation happening in the background, and a ledger that is now processing machine-to-machine payments at a pace that would have seemed theoretical a year ago. Whether those threads pull together into a sustained rally depends on whether demand actually arrives to meet the tightening supply.
