Worldcoin’s WLD token is showing signs of a rebound, trading at $0.3147 with a solid 24-hour volume of $132 million and market cap over $1 billion. This modest 2% rise in the past day hints at a potential shift from a prolonged downtrend that has defined its price movement since last September.
Testing the key Support in a Descending Channel
Analysts highlight that WLD is currently positioned near the midpoint of a long-term descending channel, a zone that has functioned as a key support level. This technically significant area may rally renewed buying interest. If bullish momentum picks up, prices could see a short-term recovery, with the upper channel resistance near $0.50 marking the next major hurdle. Failure to surpass this resistance would likely extend the bearish pattern that has limited WLD’s gains over recent months.
Momentum Indicators Suggest Growing Optimism
Technical signals back this cautious optimism. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has crossed above 50, landing at 51.67 which suggests building buying pressure. The MACD also registered a bullish crossover with expanding positive histogram bars. For bulls to cement control, WLD’s price must sustain above the $0.31 mark and break through resistance between $0.32 and $0.325. Doing so could lift the token towards testing the upper resistance near $0.34 initially and potentially reaching $0.50 if the upward trend continues.
Market watchers remain attentive to whether WLD can hold these gains amid broader crypto volatility. With the crypto market pausing in August and Bitcoin alongside altcoins hovering near key levels, the next few sessions will be critical for the trajectory of this digital asset.
