Bitcoin miners are under increasing strain amid persistent bearish market conditions that began after the significant crash on October 10, 2025. This prolonged downturn has raised questions about when the market bottom might emerge and what factors will signal a turnaround.

Stablecoin Flows and Market Bottom Indicators

One critical signal for the start of a bull market lies in stablecoin inflows to exchanges. Historical data highlights that strong stablecoin inflows often precede significant Bitcoin price surges, as observed in April 2021 and during late 2024 through October 2025. Currently, exchange inflows remain negative on average, indicating muted bullish sentiment.

Crypto intelligence platform Alphractal’s CEO Joao Wedson estimates a market bottom between $41,500 and $45,000, potentially arriving by October 2026. This projection leverages historical fractal symmetry rather than deterministic models, underlining the uncertainties inherent in timing market reversals.

Price Projections and Institutional Drivers to 2030

Looking ahead, institutional accumulation will likely accelerate. Entities with significant Bitcoin holdings, such as Strategy, have the influence to shape future market cycles. However, maturation of the crypto space may moderate the historically explosive nature of Bitcoin’s bull runs.

Technical analysis using Fibonacci retracement and extension levels provides a framework for potential price paths. The 2020-2022 cycle retraced near the 78.6% Fibonacci level around $17,738 before rallying past the 61.8% extension to approximately $126,200. Applying similar models to the current cycle suggests a pullback target around $39,100, aligning closely with Wedson’s bottom estimate.

Should a rebound follow this retracement, Bitcoin could push beyond the 61.8% extension at $152,300, possibly reaching between $200,000 and $220,000 by 2030. Investors should note that the previous cycle spanned nearly twice as long compared to the 2020 cycle, indicating that patience will be required as the market evolves.
