Tokenized real-world assets now make up 54% of Hyperliquid's weekly volume, reaching about $26 billion and surpassing all crypto categories combined on the platform. This marks a notable shift in trading activity, with on-chain interest moving strongly towards traditional asset tokenization.
Hyperliquid, a decentralized exchange focused on perpetuals, dominates the DEX perpetuals market with around $50 billion of the $79 billion total last week. ARK Invest's Lorenzo Valente pointed out that the RWA volume on Hyperliquid exceeds the sum of crypto perpetual volumes across other decentralized exchanges.
The growing traction of tokenized RWAs highlights a changing preference among market participants who are increasingly drawn to real-world financial products on blockchain. This trend could signal new opportunities for the sector, especially if Hyperliquid continues to innovate or form strategic partnerships.
