Pierce's appearance came months after Ukrainian authorities seized the group's crypto assets and years into its documented campaign of online manipulation.
This interview marks Pierce's first major public move since Protos and Decrypt reported his ties to deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. The billionaire Tether founder has largely kept a low profile since then, making his decision to engage with AllatRa particularly notable given the group's track record.
How a Cult Weaponized AI Against Ukraine
AllatRa operates a sophisticated disinformation machine. In 2024, streamer Destiny exposed a fake YouTube expert named "Dr. A. Egon Chalokian" who promoted apocalyptic climate narratives while glorifying Russian leadership. The videos were technically crude but designed to deceive. Hands froze mid-gesture for hours. Books on shelves had no readable spines. Faces in images dissolved into uncanny blur. Yet Chalokian's LinkedIn claimed simultaneous degrees from Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and Cleveland Clinic.
Ukrainian officials had known about AllatRa for years. In 2022, charges were brought against the group's founders. By 2023, raids on safe houses turned up weapon caches and forged IDs. But the government struggled to dismantle the operation. That changed in August 2025, when Ukrainian courts ordered seizure of AllatRa's cryptocurrency holdings.
Court documents released afterward revealed the scope. AllatRa was actively financing attempts to violently overthrow Ukraine's government, committing high treason, and producing content promoting violence, racial intolerance, and fraud. The group moved money using USDT and Justin Sun's TRX token, embedding itself into the crypto ecosystem with precision.
Pierce's interview with this organization raises uncomfortable questions about due diligence and awareness. Whether he knew AllatRa's background before appearing remains unclear. What is clear is that a prominent crypto figure just provided a platform to a group actively accused of destabilizing Ukraine and spreading AI-generated propaganda across global networks.
