Strategy, the Bitcoin treasury firm, revealed a $8.2 billion loss for the second quarter, largely driven by a sharp decline in Bitcoin's market value. The company’s unrealized losses soared as the cryptocurrency's slump hammered its portfolio.

Despite this setback, Strategy has secured a $3.75 billion cash reserve to support upcoming preferred stock payouts. This financial cushion was established in tandem with the launch of its Bitcoin monetization program, aiming to stabilize liquidity in turbulent market conditions.
