Strategy, the Bitcoin treasury company led by Michael Saylor, has now paused its Bitcoin purchases for a fifth consecutive week. While no new BTC was added, the firm boosted its US dollar reserves by $525 million over the past week.

This pause follows a two-week stretch when Strategy sold 3,588 BTC for $216 million under its new Bitcoin monetization program. The initiative aims to increase cash reserves and support dividend payments to shareholders.

Currently, Strategy holds 843,775 BTC valued at roughly $54.75 billion, alongside $3.75 billion in cash. also the company repurchased 288,930 shares of its perpetual preferred stock, STRC, spending $25 million at an average price of $86.52 per share. STRC offers a 12% annual dividend and trades near $88.32, up 1.65% on Monday.

Strategy was the first public company to hold Bitcoin as its sole treasury asset and remains the largest corporate Bitcoin holder worldwide by a wide margin. Despite MSTR, the firm’s Class A common stock, dropping over 35% year-to-date, it rose 7.6% on Monday.
