The Stellar Development Foundation held a live webinar today at 3pm ET, featuring its top executives discussing recent network growth and what to expect for the remainder of 2025.
CEO Denelle Dixon, CTO Raja Chakraborty, Chief Product Officer Tomer Weller, and VP of Product Jose Da Ponte joined the session to highlight Stellar’s progress. While exact Q2 metrics were not disclosed, the focus remained on expanding payments, tokenization, and developer tools. Stellar continues to position itself as a go-to blockchain for fast, low-cost payments, especially in real-world asset and stablecoin issuance.
Building Products from Protocol Enhancements
The leadership panel emphasized connecting protocol upgrades to tangible products that meet the needs of exchanges, financial custodians, and regulated entities. Soroban smart contracts and compliance tools for regulated assets featured prominently. Integrations with payment gateway partners are also moving forward to enhance smooth asset transfers.
Stellar’s roadmap aligns closely with the broader market trend of rising institutional interest in tokenized assets and blockchain settlements, a path also pursued by networks like Ethereum and Polygon. The foundation plans to launch new offerings focused on real-world assets, cross-border payments, and ecosystem incentives to support this growth.
