MEXC RealStocks began trading on June 1, opening up access to over 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs. In its first month, the platform's activity concentrated heavily on a handful of popular assets, with the top 10 making up nearly 58% of total volume. SpaceX’s stock ticker SPCX stood out, capturing almost 30% of all trades and drawing the widest participation among users.
SpaceX Sparks Investor Interest
SPCX's dominance was clear from the start. The commercial aerospace giant generated 29.7% of total trading volume, reflecting widespread user engagement right after its IPO launch. This single asset overshadowed others by a wide margin, making it the most heavily traded instrument on the platform during June. Its appeal shows a strong appetite for event-driven stocks in the RealStocks ecosystem.
AI and Infrastructure Stocks Spread the Gains
While SpaceX took the lead, AI-related assets attracted significant attention beyond just one market leader. Companies involved in AI infrastructure collectively accounted for 23.7% of trading volume, spanning various critical technologies. This includes GPU producers like NVIDIA (NVDA), memory makers such as Micron (MU) and SanDisk (SNDK), networking chip companies like Marvell Technology (MRVL) and Broadcom (AVGO), plus applied optoelectronics firm AAOI.
The diversity in AI trading highlights a broader trend of capital moving through different layers of the AI supply chain rather than concentrating solely on a few marquee names. Users showed interest in the full ecosystem supporting AI development, from data centers to optical communications.
- SPCX (SpaceX): 29.70% of volume
- AAOI (Applied Optoelectronics): 5.51%
- MU (Micron): 5.44%
- NVDA (NVIDIA): 3.77%
- MRVL (Marvell Technology): 3.15%
- DRAM ETF (Roundhill Memory): 2.50%
- TSLA (Tesla): 2.37%
- STRC (Bitcoin Treasury Strategy): 1.97%
- AVGO (Broadcom): 1.78%
- SNDK (SanDisk): 1.52%
The spread of interest across multiple AI infrastructure stocks aligns with recent shifts in investment strategies seen throughout June. Instead of focusing solely on NVIDIA, traders diversified their bets across companies essential to data center expansion and AI processing power.
