SEI is trading at $0.04630, up 1.09% in the past 24 hours, with a market cap of $339.64 million and a 24-hour trading volume of $22.88 million. The token is sitting on what several analysts consider a critical long-term floor, down roughly 96% from its all-time high of $1.145.
A Level That Can't Be Lost
On July 23, 2026, crypto analyst Crypto Patel posted his read on X, calling the current price range a "do or die" demand zone. According to Patel, the $0.046 to $0.036 band is where long-term accumulation makes sense, but he was clear that no trend reversal signal has shown up yet.
His roadmap is specific. SEI would need to reclaim $0.081 on the weekly chart and confirm a Change of Character (CHoCH) before any real uptrend begins. If that happens, Patel sees sequential targets at $0.125, $0.35, $0.70, and eventually above $1 during 2026 and 2027. The whole scenario collapses, though, if the token prints a weekly close below $0.030.
Derivatives data adds some texture to the picture. Open interest climbed 4.78% to $50.36 million, and futures volume jumped 11.98% to $40 million. The OI-weighted funding rate sits at a modest positive 0.0033%, meaning longs are paying a small premium to hold their positions. That number is low enough to suggest measured confidence rather than the kind of overleveraged froth that tends to precede sharp corrections.
SEI is not the only asset being watched closely in a market full of moving parts. Broader crypto sentiment has been shaped by institutional activity and regulatory developments, including a $15 million initiative from nine firms to strengthen Bitcoin's security infrastructure, which signals growing serious money interest across the space.
For now, $0.081 is the number that matters most for SEI. Until a weekly close above that level happens, the trend remains undefined.
