SafePal quietly dropped a major upgrade to its app: Aster's full on-chain perpetuals and orderbook are now live inside the wallet itself, accessible straight from the Explore page. No browser tab, no copy-pasting contract addresses, no third-party redirect that might or might not be legitimate.

The integration bundles four changes at once. Execution is faster and more stable. Crypto and real-world assets (RWAs) now trade from the same orderbook interface, collapsing what used to be two separate workflows into one. Liquidity is deeper, which matters the moment you're moving serious size. And then there's the one that actually changes how positioning works: hidden orders.

On a standard on-chain orderbook, every order you place is immediately visible to anyone watching the book. Your size, your price, your intentions, all of it sits in plain sight. That's why large traders routinely chop positions into smaller chunks, entering gradually to avoid telegraphing what they're doing. It works, but it costs money in extra fees and slippage accumulated across dozens of smaller fills. Hidden orders let you place the full size without broadcasting it, which cuts both slippage and the front-running that follows whenever a big order shows up in a transparent book.

The wallet-native approach also removes a risk that most on-chain traders have simply learned to live with. Every time you leave a wallet to open a trading interface in a browser, you're introducing a step where a phishing site can intercept you. SafePal confirmed the Aster integration via a post on X, and the Mini App is now sitting directly on the Explore page, meaning the entire flow from checking a position to placing a trade happens inside the same app already holding your keys.

RWA trading on the same interface as crypto perpetuals is worth noting separately. Bringing both asset classes under one orderbook is something that sounds obvious in hindsight but hasn't been standard practice. For traders who move between the two, eliminating that context switch is a concrete time and attention saving, not a marketing bullet point.

The update is live now for SafePal app users.
