Robinhood is in talks with Crypto.com to integrate the exchange’s event contracts into its growing prediction markets platform. This move could diversify Robinhood’s offerings beyond its current partners, reinforcing competition with Kalshi, another major player.
Expanding Sources for Event Contracts
The discussions reportedly would allow Robinhood users to trade straightforward yes-or-no contracts supplied by Crypto.com, enhancing the variety and availability of event-based trading options. So far, Robinhood has relied mainly on Kalshi, a Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated exchange, and more recently added ForecastEx and Rothera, its joint venture with Susquehanna International Group.
A spokesperson from Robinhood stated the company aims to maintain partnerships with multiple exchanges to provide a broad and reliable market experience. Adding Crypto.com’s contracts would reduce dependency on any single source, helping to avoid potential service disruptions or gaps in contract offerings.
Crypto.com’s Push into Prediction Markets
Crypto.com already operates a CFTC-regulated exchange, Crypto.com Derivatives North America, which offers event contracts based on simple yes-or-no outcomes. In early 2026, it launched OG Prediction Markets to extend its presence, partnering with platforms like FanDuel Predicts to provide sports and entertainment contracts.
The potential alliance with Robinhood could significantly expand Crypto.com’s reach, exposing its products to Robinhood's large retail trading audience. This integration follows Crypto.com’s recent moves to broaden its derivatives and prediction market footprint.
Since its launch in March 2025, Robinhood’s prediction markets hub has been evolving rapidly. Its initial reliance on Kalshi is gradually giving way to a multi-exchange model, similar to how it manages other trading products. For example, Rothera offers a more direct exchange link, helping to lower trading costs.
BitMart's shutdown and Upbit’s new listings highlight the ongoing shifts in crypto market infrastructure, underlining the importance of diversified contract sources like those Robinhood is seeking.
