This impressive showing, tracked by OKX’s Web3 wallet team, is largely driven by memecoin pairs that have become the main liquidity source.
When Robinhood launched its chain three weeks ago, activity mostly revolved around memecoin speculation. The recent surge came as memecoins started pairing with tokenized stocks, creating a loop that locks real equity shares in liquidity pools. As a result, the tokenized stock volume grew alongside memecoin trading, providing the retail on-ramp that many real-world asset platforms have struggled to find.
Nvidia tops the Robinhood Chain's tokenized stock leaderboard, with $13.9 million traded in the last day. SpaceX, Apple, and GameStop follow, generating billions in volume fueled by enthusiastic token traders. CEO Vlad Tenev emphasized this focus, stating the chain’s mission is to make real-world assets programmable, accessible worldwide, and reliable.
The meme craze kicked off thanks to launchpads Bankr and long.xyz, which allowed users to create memecoins backed by tokenized shares across 90-plus tickers. These meme tokens now dominate the chain’s trending pools, including pairs like Artificial Inu against Nvidia, which sees $2.6 million in daily volume alone. Because the tokenized stocks backing these memecoins stay locked in the pools, their trading volume boosts the overall stock-token activity significantly.
Remarkably, active tokenized-stock traders on Robinhood Chain recently surpassed 20,000 daily users, the highest count of any platform in this niche. This momentum signals that memecoin pairs may have cracked the code for popularizing onchain equities among retail investors.
While the Robinhood Chain outperforms Solana’s xStocks and Backpack combined, a larger battle for blockchain dominance continues, with Binance still looming as a major contender in real-world asset tokenization.
