Ripple has introduced Ripple Mint, a new platform designed to streamline the creation and management of its RLUSD stablecoin for institutional clients. The platform supports minting, redemption, asset bridging across blockchains, and full transaction tracking.

According to Ripple's announcement, Ripple Mint offers both a web user interface and API access, targeting organizations handling large volumes of transactions that demand automation and integration with their proprietary systems. Instead of relying solely on manual processes, companies can embed RLUSD operations directly into treasury, payments, and trading workflows.

Ripple emphasized that existing customers will experience no service disruptions and that security and compliance monitoring will continue under the new system. The stablecoin, issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company under New York's Department of Financial Services regulation, currently holds a market cap near $1.5 billion. Despite this, its monthly transaction volume has declined by roughly 25%, dropping from $14.6 billion to $11 billion.

The company highlighted stablecoins' growing role in finance but noted the need to move beyond manual transactions to meet institutional demands. By introducing Ripple Mint, Ripple aims to provide enhanced real-time visibility and automated capabilities tailored for high-volume use cases.
