Pi Network's Mainnet is now running Protocol Version 25, not as a test deployment or a roadmap promise, but on the live operational network as of this week.
The upgrade is part of a steady progression that started at Version 19, with each release building on the last to strengthen the blockchain's infrastructure and improve reliability.
The team hasn't published a detailed changelog for Version 25, but the successful rollout across active nodes confirms the implementation went through without disruption.
While users migrate to the new protocol, the next iteration is already in motion. Testnet 1 is currently running Version 26, meaning developers are stress-testing the next stage in a sandboxed environment before it touches the live chain.
That pipeline approach, testing one version ahead of whatever is live, has become Pi Network's standard method for reducing deployment risk on the mainnet.
On the price side, PI was trading at $0.09135 at time of writing, down roughly 1.97% over 24 hours according to CoinMarketCap. The coin had pulled back from recent highs but found some buying interest near current levels, per data from Tokocrypto.
The immediate focus for traders is the $0.095 to $0.100 band. That zone has acted as resistance, and a clean break above $0.10 would likely draw in fresh momentum buyers.
Analysts tracking the token point out that volume remains the key variable. Without a meaningful uptick in buying pressure, any move toward $0.10 risks stalling before a confirmed trend shift takes hold.
