Nexo has teamed up with two German companies to keep its crypto services running smoothly across the European Economic Area as new regulations take effect. Tangany, holding a MiCAR license, handles secure custody of digital assets, while DLT Finance, licensed under both MiCAR and MiFID II, manages brokerage operations. This setup ensures Nexo meets Europe's fresh, strict standards without disturbing user access.

Behind the scenes, Nexo’s Chief Product Officer Yasen Yankov highlighted how the company has been preparing for these changes for quite some time, signaling how serious MiCAR is for the crypto industry. Choosing partners wasn’t random; Nexo looked closely at regulatory compliance, technical robustness, and client security before settling on Tangany and DLT Finance. This move positions Europe as a key region in Nexo’s global strategy.

The partnership also creates a clear path for other firms adjusting to the post-MiCAR landscape. Tangany’s CEO Martin Kreitmair described their collaboration as a “blueprint” for operating under Europe’s new digital asset framework. For customers, this means uninterrupted access to Nexo’s products, which rank among the top three centralized crypto lenders as of Q3 2025. The new structure blends global reach with locally licensed infrastructure, a critical step as the European market tightens its rules.
