The cryptocurrency market is waking up to a significant shake-up as a major new stablecoin makes its debut, putting pressure on established players in the space. Here's a breakdown of where key assets stand and what's moving markets today.

Bitcoin (BTC) is trading at $58,605.00, up a modest 0.29%, while Ethereum (ETH) sits at $1,571.81 with a 0.89% gain. USDC remains tightly pegged at $0.99964, essentially flat on the day.

Among the larger altcoins, Solana (SOL) is one of the standout performers with a 3.65% rise to $74.93, and XRP has climbed to $1.04, gaining nearly 1%. BNB slipped slightly by 0.37% to $543.30, while DOGE added 1.76% to reach $0.07148.

The stablecoin segment is seeing notable activity. USD1 is holding at $0.999099, while RLUSD trades at $1.00 with a slight 0.02% uptick. USDS is near-perfect peg at $0.999492, and USDE sits at $0.99807. Meanwhile, FDUSD trades at $0.996634, and TUSD is at $0.997945.
