Bitcoinist.App has launched on iOS as the first Bitcoin mining app that allows users to create private mining pools, invite friends and family to combine hashpower, and receive payouts directly to their own wallets. Developed by BFM Company Limited and available on the Apple App Store, the app provides a non-custodial, educational, and practical way to explore Bitcoin mining without requiring users to own physical mining hardware or enter payment details upfront.

Mining Bitcoin at home remains impractical for many due to high electricity costs, heat issues, and noisy hardware. For people relying mostly on mobile internet, dedicated mining rigs are often impossible to run. Bitcoinist.App addresses these challenges by connecting users to remotely hosted miners through a simple iPhone interface. The app operates as a control layer that directs real hashpower running in UAE data centers and third-party facilities.

Users can start by accessing the built-in Bitcoin Academy, a 31-lesson video course that explains mining fundamentals. Watching these videos and optional rewarded ads unlocks free rental time for mining, making it easy to learn and earn simultaneously. For those wanting more hashpower, an in-app subscription provides access to mining capacity in 1 TH/s increments from the hosted miners or third-party hashpower marketplaces. Future updates will enable users to connect their own mining hardware, such as home miners like the Bitaxe.

One of the app’s standout features is the ability to create private mining pools. Pool owners can invite others to join, pooling their mining power to compete with the global Bitcoin network hashrate. Alternatively, miners can operate solo or route their hashpower to the Ocean pool for more consistent payouts. All mined Bitcoin is paid out directly to users’ external self-custody wallets; the app holds no internal balances or wallets.

This launch brings a new dimension to mobile Bitcoin mining, blending education with hands-on mining experiences without the traditional barriers of hardware or infrastructure. As the crypto space evolves, such platforms could democratize mining access worldwide.
