65% of users who buy tokenized stocks through MyEtherWallet come back to invest again, and that repeat-purchase rate is one of the sharper data points MEW dropped alongside its new "Hot Stock Summer" campaign.
The campaign, built in partnership with Ondo Finance, gives wallet holders access to more than 400 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs, covering names like Apple, Netflix, and Nvidia. Trades settle in seconds rather than the days a traditional brokerage typically needs. No separate account, no lengthy onboarding, just a wallet and an internet connection.
The SpaceX IPO was an early test case. MEW users were able to pick up tokenized shares on day one, while retail investors on conventional platforms were still waiting for access to open. That kind of timing gap matters when a listing moves fast in the first hours of trading.
What MEW's internal data also shows is that people are not cashing out their crypto to fund stock purchases. Blended portfolios, holding both Bitcoin or Ethereum alongside tokenized equities in the same wallet, are becoming the norm for this user base. The 65% DCA retention figure suggests these are not one-off speculative bets; users are dripping money in on a schedule, which is about as unglamorous and disciplined as investing gets.
The collaboration with Ondo Finance handles the tokenization layer, converting traditional equity exposure into on-chain assets that MEW's interface can serve up alongside crypto holdings. For anyone outside the U.S. who has historically struggled to open a brokerage account, that infrastructure removes a real barrier.
