Hyperscale Data has shifted its Bitcoin strategy by liquidating around 100 BTC and securing a Bitcoin-backed credit line to fast-track its AI data center expansion in Michigan. This move allows the company to fund its infrastructure development without heavily leaning on equity financing, thus protecting shareholders from dilution.

By monetizing part of its Bitcoin treasury, Hyperscale Data aims to support the buildout of a major AI campus tied to a recent master services agreement with a leading neo-cloud AI infrastructure provider. The new credit facility carries an interest rate between 4.5 and 5 percent, providing relatively affordable capital tied to the company’s substantial Bitcoin assets, reportedly worth about $71 million from mining and treasury operations.

Hyperscale Data's Michigan facility is designed to deliver up to 20 megawatts of AI compute power over the next decade, with optional extensions that could push capacity even higher. If full contract terms are exercised, the project could generate over $3 billion in revenue, marking it as a cornerstone of the company's long-term growth strategy.

Management sees the redeployment of Bitcoin proceeds into AI infrastructure as a strategic pivot that maximizes shareholder value while navigating the rising demand for AI computational capacity. This is a clear case of digital asset holdings translating into tangible progress on high-capital projects.
