Giggle Academy's wallet has seen millions pouring in from meme coin donations it never asked for. The platform, founded by ex-Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, has been forced to clarify how it manages these tokens. Despite the flood, the academy doesn’t have its own token and never plans to launch one.

The meme token surge and its impact

A community-created token called GIGGLE on the BNB Smart Chain sends about 5% of trading fees straight to Giggle Academy’s donation wallet. This token, unrelated officially to the academy, generated close to $900,000 in fees with just a $5 million market cap. In one remarkable 12-hour period in September 2025, over $1.3 million arrived, mostly from this single meme coin. By the next month, donations had swelled to roughly $11 million in BNB.

How Giggle Academy is using these funds

CZ outlined the academy’s approach: half of certain received tokens get burned, and the rest are converted into BNB to support the platform’s free education efforts. The wallet currently holds more than 13,200 BNB alongside stablecoins like USDT and USDC, totaling assets valued over $7.7 million. Transparency remains key since all donations go to public welfare addresses, allowing anyone to track the flow and usage of funds on-chain.
