F5's stock jumped more than 4% after the company unveiled its fiscal third-quarter results, revealing an 11% revenue increase to $865 million, with systems revenue soaring 32% year over year to $240 million. Software revenues grew 7% to $223 million while services climbed 3% to $402 million. F5 credited its strong performance to ongoing investments in hybrid multicloud infrastructure and expanding digital environments. This marks the eighth consecutive quarter of double-digit product revenue growth, reflecting F5’s deepening foothold in application security and delivery markets.
AI Security Boosts Product Adoption and Margins
The company highlighted the rising need for AI-driven security tools that detect threats early and protect modern applications. These innovations helped sustain strong customer demand and supported margin expansion. GAAP gross profit improved to $712 million with gross margins rising to 82.2%. Non-GAAP gross profit reached $728 million with margins climbing to 84.2%. Operating income also saw gains despite ongoing business investments, with GAAP operating income at $213 million and non-GAAP operating income at $303 million.
Net income increased to $208 million from $190 million last year, driving stronger earnings per share. The financial results shows how AI-enhanced security solutions are becoming central to enterprise IT strategies, helping F5 capitalize on the digital transformation wave. The stock added nearly 1% more in pre-market trading, signaling investor confidence ahead.
