Ethena's ENA token broke through a resistance level that had held for two weeks, surging nearly 17% and trading around $0.09174 at the time of writing. Daily volume hit $150.67 million, market cap sits at $877 million, and the 24-hour gain stands at 6.72%. Crypto analyst Scient flagged the breakout, calling it a potential trend reversal after a prolonged consolidation phase.
The level everyone is watching now is $0.0845. That's the old resistance that needs to flip into support to confirm the move is real. If it holds, technicians see a clean path toward $0.10, which would be the next meaningful target and likely pull in fresh buyers looking to chase momentum.
Monad and Aave add weight to the move
The price action didn't happen in a vacuum. Ethena went live on the Monad blockchain this week, deploying both USDe, its synthetic dollar, and sUSDe, the interest-bearing version of the same asset. Monad runs a parallelized EVM, meaning it can process transactions at speeds that traditional sequential EVM chains can't match. Getting USDe and sUSDe onto that infrastructure gives Monad users access to stable crypto assets built for payments, trading, and yield.
The launch also came bundled with an Aave integration on Monad, letting users borrow against USDe through Aave's lending protocol. That's a meaningful liquidity hook: Aave's track record in stablecoin lending combined with Monad's throughput could generate real usage, not just headline numbers. It's the kind of ecosystem depth that differentiates Ethena from projects that expand to new chains purely for optics.
Bitcoin's broader recovery has lifted sentiment across the market, which helps ENA's case. But the real test for the token will be whether USDe adoption on Monad and Aave translates into sustained on-chain activity rather than a one-week novelty spike.
