65 consecutive trading sessions below the 20-day EMA. That is the streak Dogecoin has now racked up, the longest in the coin's history, and it tells you more about the current state of DOGE than any single price tick.
The memecoin was changing hands at $0.07267 at last check, down 0.7% over 24 hours, pinned inside a tight $0.07207 $0.07381 range. Bitcoin has pushed higher, several large-caps have followed, and DOGE has basically sat still.
Against that backdrop, at least one big player decided to buy. A whale scooped up roughly 200 million DOGE near the $0.07 support, a transaction worth around $14 million. The purchase drew attention but did not move the price. Retail has not come back yet, and investor Jordi Visser has pointed to that prolonged absence as the reason the broader crypto rally has not fully reached memecoins.
Technically, the $0.07 $0.071 band is the line in the sand. A break below it opens a path toward $0.058 $0.060. On the other side, the 20-day EMA sits near $0.07394, then $0.075, then the 50-day EMA around $0.0795. Bulls need to reclaim $0.08 to shift the conversation. For context, DOGE is still 90.1% below its May 2021 all-time high of $0.7316, though it remains more than 83,000% above its 2015 floor. The monthly Stochastic RSI has started drifting into oversold territory, which some traders read as exhaustion of the selling pressure rather than a green light to buy.
