Dogecoin is pressing against a rising support trendline that has held through two previous bull cycles, and a handful of analysts think the setup is worth watching closely. The coin is currently hovering around $0.07 to $0.075, a zone that on the monthly chart aligns with the same structural floor that preceded major moves in 2017 and 2020.
Trader Tardigrade, who tracks long-term chart patterns on X, flagged the trendline retest and suggested a comparable rebound could follow if buyers manage to hold the area through monthly close. The logic is simple: every time DOGE touched this line in the past, it launched into an extended uptrend. Whether that sequence repeats is another question entirely.
What needs to happen before $0.36 becomes a real target
Before any of the bigger price targets mean anything, DOGE has to clear a series of resistance levels that are sitting directly overhead. Reclaiming $0.10 comes first, then $0.13, and neither of those flips easily given that the coin is also pressing against a falling trendline drawn from its previous cycle peak. MikybullCrypto, another analyst tracking the weekly setup, calls this one of his strongest current positions and expects at least a fivefold move if the structure plays out.
A 5x gain from the current area would land DOGE near $0.36. Getting there would require breaking the descending trendline, flipping $0.10 and $0.13 into support, and then pushing through $0.20 and $0.30 in sequence. That is a lot of work for a coin that has underperformed most of the majors during the current cycle.
The floor itself is not unconditional. A monthly candle that closes below $0.06 to $0.07 would break the trendline outright, invalidating the historical comparison and removing the main argument for a recovery from this level. In that case, there would be no nearby technical floor of comparable significance to catch the fall.
For now DOGE stays in a narrow range, caught between a support line that has held for a decade and a downtrend it has not yet managed to escape.
