BNB Chain just added $80.9 million in tokenized ETF value over the past month, leaving competitors in the dust. Solana managed only $12.5 million, while Ethereum and Arbitrum actually saw net outflows of $2.1 million and $4.5 million respectively. The gap reveals something key: not all blockchains are winning the RWA adoption game equally.

Base and Robinhood chains posted smaller gains, but the real story is concentration. Issuers aren't spreading capital evenly across networks. They're chasing speed and infrastructure maturity, which means BNB Chain's momentum could lock in its dominance if it holds. Competing ecosystems will need serious issuance activity to claw back market share.

Institutional money follows the proven players

Tokenized treasuries tell a different tale entirely. While ETF tokens scattered across chains, institutional capital poured into established leaders. Securitize pulled in $580 million in 30 days alone. JP Morgan and Franklin Templeton combined for just $200.5 million. The numbers make the preference obvious: institutions still chase scale, liquidity, and operational track records. Securitize's $5 billion in locked value and BlackRock's $3.5 billion BUIDL fund set the standard others measure against.

This clustering around proven issuers suggests tokenized treasuries will remain the primary entry point for institutional real-world asset adoption on blockchain. When big money moves, it moves to where it trusts the plumbing works.

The broader tokenized asset market is expanding anyway. Equity and ETF tokens now sit at $1.9 billion, while private credit and commodities attract growing interest. The total RWA market has ballooned to somewhere between $29 billion and $37 billion. Institutions aren't betting everything on one asset class anymore. They're testing multiple avenues to see which ones actually deliver returns and operational stability.
