Binance will suspend all POL deposits and withdrawals on July 29, 2026, at 4:00 PM ahead of a scheduled Polygon network upgrade and hard fork. The fork itself is set to trigger at block 50,185,000, expected around 5:00 PM the same day.

What stays on, what goes off

Spot trading for POL and related tokens will keep running without interruption throughout the maintenance window. The only thing going dark is on-chain movement through the Polygon network. Binance will handle all technical steps on users' behalf, so no action is required from account holders.

Deposits and withdrawals will reopen once the exchange confirms the network is fully stable on the new version. Binance also noted it does not plan to issue further updates on the process before that point.

Polygon's hard fork introduces protocol-level changes aimed at boosting performance and tightening security on one of Ethereum's most widely used scaling layers. The network processes millions of transactions daily for DeFi apps, NFT platforms and gaming projects built on top of Ethereum.
