Binance has launched options trading for gold and silver through its Nest Exchange Limited, regulated by Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). This move follows the impressive performance of the exchange's perpetual futures on these metals, which have hit daily volumes of $7.77 billion for gold and $7.27 billion for silver.

Shunyet Jan, Binance’s head of exchange and trading, emphasized that growing investor interest and the rising gold price have driven this expansion. The new options provide retail investors with another way to access commodity markets, although selling options remains limited to authorized market makers. This step reflects Binance’s effort to diversify its regulated product offerings while keeping commodity exposure within its ecosystem.

The addition of gold and silver options comes after months of strong activity on perpetual futures launched earlier this year. Binance plans to broaden its options portfolio further, gradually introducing products on additional underlying assets. This development caters to investors aiming for portfolio diversification and protection against inflation beyond traditional stock markets.
