ArenaDAO has launched a head-to-head battle format on BNB Chain where two meme tokens compete directly in eight-hour rounds, with the losing side's vault converted into the winning token and then burned entirely. The platform, accessible at arenadao.live, scraps the usual meme-coin dynamic of picking a ticker and hoping the chart moves your way.

How the arena works

Each round drops two meme tokens into an "arena." Traders back whichever token they believe will win. When the clock runs out, the loser's vault doesn't sit idle or get redistributed in any conventional sense. It gets wiped. The winning token absorbs the value and the losing side is destroyed, round after round.

As the team behind the project put it, the goal is to turn passive meme-coin speculation into something with a defined outcome and a clear loser, rather than a slow bleed nobody notices until it's too late.

The burn mechanic is the structural bet here. Deflationary pressure on losing tokens is guaranteed by design, not by community votes or developer promises. Eight hours per round keeps the pace tight enough that traders can't just walk away and forget about it.

BNB Chain's low transaction costs make the format practical for smaller positions, which matters when the whole premise is repeated, round-by-round competition rather than a single entry.
