Antony Mlelwa is pushing for a responsible approach to cryptocurrency adoption across Africa. The Tanzanian blockchain educator insists that before celebrating new financial opportunities, people must understand the underlying technology and the risks involved.
With blockchain moving beyond speculative trading to more institutional use and tokenized assets, Mlelwa promotes education as the foundation for sustainable growth. He argues that true adoption means users grasp what they own, why they hold it, and how to protect themselves against financial risks.
Mlelwa’s journey in crypto began back in 2017, a time when digital currencies were often dismissed as risky and confusing. He encountered market volatility and scattered information firsthand, fueling his determination to bring clarity to the space.
He holds the title of Certified Financial Educator and runs DienAcademy, an educational platform focusing on blockchain and finance. Through social media under @trizymagno, he reaches a growing audience with content that balances opportunity awareness with caution.
Since 2020, Mlelwa has worked with Inkryptus Wallet, a platform that rewards users via staking and incentivizes referrals through an independent business owner framework.
His influence stretches from local workshops in East Africa to major conferences worldwide. He delivered talks at Crypto Expo Dubai 2025 and the 2026 Corporate Blockchain Gala in Dar es Salaam. Mlelwa is also slated to speak at Crypto Expo Dubai 2026 this September.
"I do not measure adoption by how many people can purchase a digital asset. I measure it by how many people can explain what they own, why they own it, what risks they are accepting and how they intend to protect themselves," he said.
