$ANSEM Token Controversy: Deployer Handed 60% of Supply to Influencer Ansem, Who Claims $7M Airdrop Distribution

Blockchain analytics firms Lookonchain and Bubblemaps revealed that the $ANSEM deployer transferred 60% of the token's supply to crypto influencer Ansem, who claims to have already airdropped $7 million worth of tokens to community holders.

Solana-based memecoin $ANSEM has found itself at the center of community debate after blockchain analytics firms uncovered a significant token transfer between its deployer and well-known crypto influencer Ansem. According to on-chain data, the deployer moved approximately 60% of the total token supply directly to Ansem, who subsequently stated that around $7 million worth of tokens had already been redistributed to the community via airdrops.

The revelations came from two separate analytics platforms — Lookonchain and Bubblemaps — and coincided with $ANSEM trading near the $0.10 mark. At that price level, the token carried a market capitalization of roughly $43 million, following a turbulent price rally that had previously pushed its valuation above $120 million.

Breaking down the deployer's activity, Lookonchain identified a wallet labeled "yHCxHB" as the entity responsible for launching $ANSEM. The deployer initially spent around $6,300 to mint the token and went on to accumulate 792.45 million $ANSEM tokens. Of that amount, 650 million tokens were sent directly to Ansem's wallet. The deployer then offloaded the remaining 142.45 million tokens for approximately $11,800, locking in a net gain of just $5,500 — a modest return considering the token had briefly surged to a nine-figure valuation.

The relatively small profit captured by the deployer has led many observers to question the broader intent behind the token launch, particularly given the scale of the transfer to a high-profile influencer.

In response to the growing scrutiny, Ansem took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the situation. He confirmed receiving the tokens and stated that multiple rounds of community airdrops had already distributed roughly $7 million worth of $ANSEM to existing holders. He further indicated that additional distributions are planned, contingent on the token's market capitalization growth. Ansem also outlined an ambitious long-term vision: expanding the $ANSEM holder base from its current count of approximately 25,000 to one million wallets.

Bubblemaps corroborated the 60% supply transfer figure in its own analysis and noted that a significant portion of those tokens had since made their way into community hands. However, the platform also flagged a separate cluster of early wallets that appears to be actively selling into the current rally. This group has already unloaded an estimated $500,000 worth of $ANSEM and still retains around 1% of the total supply, signaling continued selling pressure from early participants.

The situation has reignited broader conversations within the crypto community around memecoin transparency, token distribution fairness, and the outsized influence that prominent figures can have on emerging projects. While Ansem's airdrop claims have been met with some support, skeptics argue that the initial supply concentration represents a structural risk regardless of subsequent distributions.

As of now, $ANSEM continues to trade amid heightened attention, with market participants closely watching both future airdrop announcements and the behavior of remaining early-holder wallets.
